Painting

3Painting

In the paint booth, lighting fixtures must allow constant brightness to capture paint real colors reproduction without dye effects. LEDs can provide a sealing to keep the paint particles from entering the interior of the fixture, but also to keep moisture (when the booth is being cleaned) from entering the fixture.
When choosing lighting for a painting booth, it is mandatory to choose appropriate fixtures. These lighting systems must allow to see the paint color without any effects and they must be placed to allow maximum coverage within the facility. The lighting is set to produce wide and bright beams, without shadows and with great color clarity.
Our fixtures’ performance is far superior to those of a standard LED light which allows us to offer an LED for booths of exclusive paint. Not only they save energy, allow workers to obtain much more accurate final results, but they are also a more sustainable and overall safer choice.

Mining

4Mining

Mines need constant and quality lighting systems, must allow the visual inspection of the surroundings and the presence of fractures and consequently accidents. and they also need to work under extreme conditions. Methane gas and finely divided coal dust in mines account for serious risks of explosions and fires if they get in contact with electrics. Explosion-proof lighting should be used in mining to avoid propagation in case of an explosion. These fixtures also must resist dust, vibration, and impacts.

Waste water Treatment

5Waste water Treatment

Wastewater and water treatment facilities operate under stringent safety regulations and need LEDs to increase productivity and optimized visual comfort. Due to the presence of hazardous chemicals in wastewater and water treatment plants, it is mandatory to use explosion-proof lights to prevent the propagation of an internal explosion to the atmosphere. Also, fixtures can easily depreciate over time, so LEDs must offer durability to the exposure while delivering the required lighting space.

Paper processing

7Paper processing

Paper processing centers have an environment with a high presence of dust and/or fibers, multiple complex machines, and chemicals; therefore, they are classified as production centers with a high risk of fire. In these classified areas, only luminaires with a limited surface temperature can be used.

Pharmaceuticals

8Pharmaceuticals

The pharmaceutical sector is very demanding because it requires precise and specific lighting adequate for the manufacturing processes, cleanliness, and safety. As the main area of drug production is under strict dust-free control, the industry demands fittings to have an IP 55 degree level of protection. These facilities may encounter the release of flammable and combustible substances, so explosion protection is also needed.

9Food industrial

Systems in areas where food is prepared or processed must comply with incredibly strict hygiene regulations. This poses quite a challenge, especially where vapours, gases and dust create an explosion hazard, as well as necessitating more extensive cleaning work. Luminaires for the food industry must be designed by hygienic directives for dry applications that don’t come into contact with food; areas that occasionally come into contact with food or water and for areas that come into regular contact with food and harsh sanitation practices.

Gas station

Particular attention must also be paid to safety at gas stations for heavy-duty traffic and where cars that use gas as a fuel are filled directly. In all these applications, explosion protection concepts require a zone plan. First and foremost, the aim is to prevent or restrict any dangerous explosive atmospheres. Furthermore, measures that prevent sources of ignition – including lightning strikes, the formation of sparks, arcing, friction, and electrostatic energy – improve safety.
